A NEW
LOOK
FOR THE FUTURE OF SAMBA
Workshops that aim to revalue materials
consumption, mobilize and qualify people following the
tripod of social, environmental and economic sustainability.
This project will innovate the carnival of the Association of Samba Schools Mirins of Rio de Janeiro through the partner-collaborator Águida Zanol, international ecodesigner, consultant of socio-environmental projects and associate of Zero Waste - USA, with 20 years of experience, awards in Brazil, Europe and the United States.
The professional believes in the new generation of samba and brings the workshops "UM NOVO OLHAR" to AESM-Rio.
METHODOLOGY
An invitation to join techniques and creativity through sustainable processes, allowing a look capable of transforming these materials, prolonging their useful life and enabling the construction of new products such as costumes, props and allegories for AESM-Rio's carnival workshops 2022.
As part of the methodology to be applied, we will use a screen with sensitization and mobilization videos to raise awareness of waste and motivate the means of transforming disposable materials. The action stimulates creative processes within the ethics, care and principles of regenerative economics.

EXPECTANCY
Ensure that health safety standards and rules for COVID 19 are fully applied to all members throughout the project process.
The greatest expectation is to pre-qualify 44 coordinators in seven days
and from there, mobilize, integrate and qualify 200 young people, dressmakers and seamstresses, from the 16 junior samba schools in the Rio communities.
This is the second phase that will have 22 workshops, for 5 days, from 9 am to 4 pm, with 3 specific intervals, in an approximate physical space of approximately 4000 m2 with functional and living areas.
Results
The presentation of the results of the participants will be delivered
of the certificate, is expected to be on the sixth day, with the collaborating partners and the press. All in a great fraternization
with feijoada and roda de samba, a typical Rio party.
All structural material and machinery used in the structure
the physical space for the workshops will be divided between the participating schools and a bonus will be presented to AESM-Rio.

KIT-EVERYTHING
Each member of the workshops will receive a daily allowance, plus
"KIT -TUDO" - an 'ecologically correct' backpack with tools, materials, clothing and health prevention kit - which will accompany you to facilitate your new task of "multiplier" at the samba school you belong to. Each participant will receive a certificate of participation and a "button" from the workshop with the title "Inventores do Futuro".
Future Partners
It is also an expectation to attract collaborating partners and local and international investors such as "Plastic Bank", an American company that promotes the construction of plastics collection, organized by independent Associations. This has a premium value for the material collected, thus ensuring a continuous income and decent work, in addition to ensuring the proper destination of the waste. Outside plastics in the oceans.
Innovation
Young people with a new look at the carnival of the future. Goal Zero Garbage. Socio-environmental, cultural, economic and technological project. "Partners of the Future" in line with the regenerative economy. Tripod application of Agenda 21 and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
